POLICIES AND REMINDERS

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AT BEAUTY AND THE BARBER... 

APPOINTMENT POLICY 

  • Walk-ins welcome (if applicable), but appointments are recommended.

  • Please arrive 5–10 minutes early.

  • Clients arriving 15+ minutes late may need to reschedule or accept a shortened service.

CANCELLATION & NO SHOW POLICY

  • Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Late cancellations (under 24 hours) may be charged 50% of the service cost.

  • No-shows will be charged 100% of the service cost and may be required to prepay for future appointments.

DEPOSIT POLICY

  • A non-refundable deposit of 10% may be required for high-demand services or first-time clients.

  • Deposits go toward the total cost of the service.

PAYMENT POLICY 

  • We accept cash, debit/credit cards, and other specified payment methods ( Zelle, Apple Pay, etc.).

  • Tips are appreciated but never expected.

  • Full payment is due at the end of your appointment.

GUEST POLICIES

  • Due to limited space and safety regulations, no extra guests are allowed unless being serviced.

  • Children must be supervised at all times.

SERVICE SATISFACTION POLICY

  • If you are unhappy with your service, please notify us within 48 hours.

  • We do not offer refunds, but we are happy to offer adjustments or corrections at no additional cost.

HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

  • Please reschedule if you are feeling unwell, have a contagious illness, or have head lice.

  • Our tools and stations are sanitized after each client.

COLOR / CHEMICAL SERVICE POLICY 

  • Results may vary depending on hair history and condition.

  • A consultation may be required before complex services.

  • We are not liable for damage due to undisclosed prior treatments.

PHOTOS & SOCIAL MEDIA

  • We may take photos of your finished style for our portfolio or social media.

  • Let us know if you’d prefer not to be photographed.
